Our Point of View
Making the assumption that all advisors approach planning and wealth building the same way is a
mistake. In these rapidly-changing times, sound advice could be critical to your success in achieving your
goals. From a financial and wealth building perspective, our view of the world is important for our clients
to know as this drives our advice and recommendations, whether it be personal finance, tax and/or
business planning.
We view a person's wealth holistically to include health, family, overall sense of security, peace of mind,
and independence. Personal beliefs and values are a foundation for making decisions and implementing
strategies. Our assumption is our clients love their families, are community oriented, benevolent, and
want to contribute to the greater good. We assume that they would like their chosen providers to feel
the same way. Our belief is that the chemistry between advisor and client is as important as the skills
and knowledge we bring to the table.
The global forces that impact our lives today are overwhelming and create too much anxiety in our
society. We believe we're witnessing massive societal change that will impact us in ways we just cannot
imagine. Many people choose to cling to the past, ignore what's happening around them and hope for
the best. This could be a huge mistake as the strategies that served us well in the past may not work so
well going forward. We feel it's becoming more difficult to make major decisions without an objective
advocate who knows the terrain and knows you, as well.
The financial markets are unpredictable. There is no one approach to wealth management that works
every time. So garnering valuable information and points of view from a variety of sources is really
important to us. Maintaining our independence from companies caring more for their own profitability
than your well-being is a fundamental aspect of our structure and strategy.
Clients often see their CPA as a necessary evil, existing solely to report to the Government what
transpired in the past by putting a few figures into a computer program. We strive to give proactive
advice about managing your tax position. For business owners, the CPA serves as a partner to help
interpret the numbers and provide support in managing the myriad of issues facing entrepreneurs
today.
Our business consultants take this another level entirely. Clients use us as their consultants for
everything from creating an initial business plan to executing their succession plan. They appreciate our
knowledge and experience in business building, and also desire a partnership with a coach who is more
objective than they or other insiders can be. We feel it's imperative for entrepreneurs to have someone
in their lives with whom they can share their hopes, dreams, fears and frustrations.
We believe that money has complex emotional associations for most. Our attitudes and perceptions
around it can make the difference between a life of clarity and confidence and one filled with chaos.
Some clients struggle so with attitudes and actions that serve them poorly that they require a further
exploration of these before they can successfully engage in proactive planning.
In our point of view, your advisory team should be comfortable enough to consider whether the match
between us is good for all involved, and not be afraid to let you know if we feel you will be best served
elsewhere. In working together, we meet you where you are, help you establish your goals and co create
implementation strategies and checkpoints. We make available many services under one roof and want
you to consider us as your advocate in pursuing your dreams.
